UPYR Taras Vladimirovich (06.08.1991, Bendery, Moldova) – candidate of pharmaceutical sciences, assistant professor of the Department of Pharmacognosy of the NUPh.Graduated from the National University of Pharmacy (2013), master of pharmacy (2014), post-graduate studies (2017). Worked as a senior laboratory assistant (2013-2019). Since 2018 Work as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Pharmacognosy.

Educational and methodical work. Laboratory classes in “Pharmacognosy”, “Resource Studies of Medicinal Plants” for full-time and part-time students, scientific adviser of student theses.

Research work. Search for biologically active substances in plants of the Ericaceae and Rosales families, the development of medicines based on their bases. Defended the Thesis on “Phytochemical study of Labrador tea shoots (Ledum palustre) and extracts on their base” (2018). Author and Co-Author of more than 50 scientific works, including 5 patents, 24 articles, 23 thesises.
