KOZYRA Sofіa (12.09.1979, Moscow) –  is a Candidate of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Assistant of the Department of Pharmacognosi of NUPh. She graduated from V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University in 2002. She worked as a senior laboratory assistant during 2002-2003, and as assistant since 2003. She graduated magistracy in NUPh in Higher Education Pedagogy and received her Master’s Degree in Pedagogy in 2008. She is the secretary of the Department of Botany since 2018. She is responsible for the educational work at the department. She is the curator of 2 groups students. She worked as part of working group of I and II of the Ukrainian Student Olympiad of Botany in 2019. She was awarded the NUPh Certificate of Merit (2018) and the NUPh Certificate of Appreciation (2018, 2019). Member of the Ukrainian Botanical Society (since 2018).
Certification training. Upper-Intermidiate English courses (Karazin KhNU, 2012-2013), the cycle of improvement the level of  Ukrainian language “Ukrainian Conversation Club” (2019), а series of lectures “School of professional skill of the teacher of NUPh” (2020), the cycle “Theory and practice of distance learning” (2020).
Educational work. She is co-author of 15 educational and methodical publications.
Scientific research work.  She defended the thesis for the Candidate’s Degree “Pharmacognostic research of plants of the genus Geum L.” (2010, scientific supervisor – Professor Serbin A.).
She conducts research work with students who participate in conferences with presentations. According to the results of the research work, she has more than 110 scientific papers, among them: 4 patents, 5 newsletters, 30 scientific articles and more than 80 conference materials.
